Parts for the new Samsung Galaxy S8 & S8 Plus

Samsung Galaxy S8

The design itself is the definition of excellence. It’s possible to say that it’s one of the best phones seen so far. The curved back nestles perfectly in your palm, while the glass shimmers as light hits it. The three colours – a dark black, bright silver and a grey with a blueish tinge – are all subtle. There’s no ugly white front plate in sight.

Galaxy S8 is thin, and amazingly light at 155g, but it feels hard and precisely made. It’s IP68 water- and dust-resistant, so it’s good for 30 minutes to depths of 1.5 metres. The glass is a little fingerprint prone, but no worse than any other glass phone I’ve used. The front of the Samsung Galaxy S8 is almost all screen.

It’s needless to say that this device offers amazing performances and, without doubt, ensures high-end experience for all needs – whether it’s business, gaming or photography.

Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus

The Samsung Galaxy S8+ is an amazing smartphone and comfortably one of the slickest phones out there, though it’s somewhat bigger than S8. The S8+ isn’t hard to hold, but the various curves and a slightly slippery glass back make it feel ever so slightly precarious in the hand. If you like big phones then you’ll love the S8+.

Inside, the 8+ is almost identical to the regular S8, and that’s a good thing. Power comes from either an Exynos 8895 or Snapdragon 835 SoC, and there’s 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage. It’s a fast setup, but it could be the power-efficiency upgrades Samsung’s promised that will be most important. The S8+ has a fairly small 3500mAh battery – typical phablets seem to range from 3720mAh to 4000mAh. As a result the S8+ CPU is going to have to be much more efficient for the phone to last a full day.
