Touchscreen/LCD’s for CAT Smartphone

CAT S30 and CAT S40

Both smartphones, CAT S30 and S40, come with IP68 water resistance and mil-spec ingress and toughness. They can be wet, you can use them in dirty, dusty environments and you can use them while wearing gloves and even when your fingers are wet. This alone makes them great for a building site, or some area that’s not exactly smartphone-friendly. The S30 and S40 differ in a few ways, with the S40 being the top one.

The CAT S30 has  Snapdragon 210 processor and features a 4.5-inch 854 x 480 display, Android Lollipop and 1GB of RAM. With 8GB of expandable storage, this is not really exciting smartphone out there, but it’s designed as a working smartphone above all.

CAT S40 is one level above, with the same Snapdragon 210, but a 4.7-inch 960 x 540 display and a more exciting build compared to the S30. Both are designed with super-bright displays, massive 3,000 mAh batteries.

CAT B15 & B15Q

CAT B15

Conventional internal stuff like NFC, a 1080p resolution or Micro HDMI connectivity are not present with B15. The B15 can be submerged in 1m of water for up to 30 minutes, is dust and shock proof and has an operating temperature range of -20 C to + 55 C.

This model features tough exterior which is a warm and fuzzy dual-core MediaTek MT6577 built on the Cortex A9 architecture. The processor is clocked at 1GHz and there’s 512MB of RAM . It doesn’t add up to much, but the CAT B15 is surprisingly speedy because it ships with Android Jelly Bean 4.1 pre-installed.

CAT B15Q

CAT B15Q, an Android 4.4 handset that is designed to be tougher than the average phone. It features an aluminum frame surrounded by rubber shielding at the top, bottom and rear.
